Interesting facts:

Among the early settlers [of Hindon Hill] were William John Walker and his wife Rebecca who came from Ireland to the neighourhood of Peterson's Corners in 1863. Their son, Thomas, born there in 1866, lived his entire life in the vicinity; his brother Johnson lived in Minden while James Walker resided in Gelert. Source: In Quest of Yesterday by Nila Reynolds.
