Land acquisition: 1910  purchased 80 acres from heirs of William Demill, her father. Christina's widowed mother Ellen was reserved 1/2 acre for herself for her natural life.  Ontario Land Parcel Register Book - Stanhope Concession 6 (Image 165).

• 1911 Stanhope Voters List: Eldon Dawson at Lot 21, Con. 2, and Lot 29, Conc. 6
• 1911 Census of Canada, Stanhope: This settler Lot 29, Conc. 5 but this could be an error.
• 1911 Stanhope Post Office List: Dawson, Eld, Maple Lake was listed at Lot 21, Conc. 2
• 1918 Stanhope Post Office List: Dawson, Eldn, Maple Lake was listed at Lot 29, Conc. 6
• 1928 Stanhope Voters List: Lots 28 & 29, Conc. 6; also Mary Dawson at Lot 29, Conc. 6.

• This 98 acre lot was patented on 30 August 1880 to William Owen Demill Redner
•  Duncan McPhail bought the north 23 acres in 1905 from heirs of William Demill

Succeeding landowner: 1940 part to Lester Arthur Dawson, 1945 part to Harry Clifton Barnum
