Interesting facts:

From Thomas Cruickshank's obituary, see below. The late Mr. Cruickshank was born in Cavan Township and was the son of the late Robert Cruickshank and Mary Sisson. His early life was spent on a farm near Carnarvon where he married Edith Baker. Later they bought a farm one mile west of Haliburton village where she predeceased him in 1926. Several years later he married Mr.s Adeline Fountain who predeceased him about five years ago.
