Location: Map point is Lot 9, Conc. 7 at the south east corner of Buckslide Road at Hwy 35, known as the Oliver property (see Robert Oliver).

Land acquisition: 1909 from Thomas Godwin south half of both 52 acre lots by B&S for $1,000 each. Ontario Land Parcel Register Book - Stanhope Concession 7 (Images 30 & 38 ).

Interesting facts:

Alexander Deacon, Robert James' brother, was listed at Lot 9, Conc. 7 as mill owner on the 1911 Stanhope Voters List.

Robert James Deacon married Lily Louisa Cooper, and Samuel Rednor married her sister, Alma Jane Cooper on the same day in 1908 at the William Cooper residence (Lot 10, Conc. 4, Stanhope).
