Interesting facts:

John J Sisson & Isabella Dawson did not appear to have had any children.

In his 1913 will, John James Sisson left his property at Lot 20, Con 2, and Lots 18, 19, 20 Con 3 and all his personal property to Thomas Mark Redner who had lived with him for many years and to whom he was not related. .

The exception stated was that his cousin James H Sisson's wife should inherit his bed and bedding, and his cousin James H Sisson should receive "the picture of my mother and father, those of my wife's father and mother, my brother Michael Henry Sisson and that of myself". to his nephew James Victor Sisson of the Township of Cavan his Cottage Bible in two volumes. He further stated that if Thomas Mark Redner failed to remain with him and work the place, then the property should be sold and the proceeds divided among John J Sisson's living brothers and sisters.
