Interesting facts:
Mrs Arthur Barry of West Guilford has worked by her father-in-law's sister, Louise Barry, [on a needlework sampler] which proclaims optimistically "After the clouds, sunshine." It was dated 1868 but sunshine was not to be hers for long; Louise Barry married William Sawyer and died at an early age in Dwight leaving 6 small children to be taken home to her people in Haliburton County by a husband who himself was killed shortly after.
