Interesting facts:  Robert Lavender & his wife Nettie Knott settled on this concession near Nettie's sisters Julie & Elizabeth and brothers William & David on Lots 2, 3 and 4. In late 1899, Robert was killed here when a horse fell on him. Arthur Andrews was married to Julia Knott whose brothers were David Edgar Knott and William A Knott. Julia’s sister, Elizabeth Jane Knott, was married to Herbert John Prest. They occupied adjacent properties.
