Dates of ownership: He obtained two patents: on 1 Oct 1888 - a 77 acre parcel on the north shore of Fletcher Lake on Lot 25, Conc. 7 and the 100 acre Lot 25, Conc. 8, both for mining purposes. He transferred both in 1900 to Barbara Ann Harbottle for "$1.00 and natural affection"

Interesting facts: In his land patent, he is described as a physician from the town of Burford in the County of Brant. In 1957 the land register indicates that the mining tax is in default.
