Interesting facts: This house was built during the logging boom in the 1880’s by Frank Simmons for the Mickle & Dyment Lumber Company. The house was occupied by Mark Malloy and later became known as the Flaherty House. Mrs. Flaherty was a member of the Knox United Church, and faithfully played the organ there for many years.
