Interesting facts: The bridge & Highway 35 bypass crossing of the Narrows was competed in 1957/58. The view of the bay on the east is called Little Trading Bay, known locally as Johnny Cake Bay. It was named because of a woman living at the head of it who was famous for her Johnny Cakes that she made for her family and men working at their sawmill.
